A Sample of Sights Essay Provides the Student With Visual Awareness
A Sample of Sights Essay Provides the Student With Visual AwarenessMany students who are beginning their writing careers typically find that the sample of sights essay is one of the first areas of writing where they need some help. Although this form of the essay is not difficult to complete, it is often overlooked by students and writers. They simply assume that it is 'easy' and that all you have to do is find a few photos and place them in a pleasing context.A question that I am often asked is whether or not a student has to be a specialist in an unfamiliar language to perform this exercise correctly. The answer is no, you do not have to be an expert in that language in order to write this essay. In fact, any student with an English degree, even if he or she does not know the language well, can write a sample of sights essay. What do I mean by this? Many students become so engrossed in their own thoughts and ideas that they forget to reflect on the photographs that they are seeing. It is during these times that students forget what they were originally trying to accomplish when they began their writing process. In addition, many students focus too much on the pictures, which are usually small in size, and not enough on the subject matter of the photographs. It is important for students to understand that a picture can speak a thousand words and many pictures are able to do this. One way to make sure that a student focuses on the subject matter of the pictures is to have the photos either placed in a beautiful composition or else to frame each photo and then to display it in the upper portion of the page. This way, students will see the picture as well as the picture. When they look at the page, they will be able to see that there is more to it than just the simple words on the page.Students often forget about the overall essay as they begin their writing process. After they begin to type their essays, they usually quickly get bogged down with all of the details and are unable to remember any of the facts that they learned in the lessons. A sample of sights essay allows students to remember the facts that they learned in their lessons, but it also makes them aware of the variety of topics that they should be able to write about. Without a sample of sights essay to guide them in writing, a student could end up with a paragraph full of different facts that are unrelated to one another.Another way to encourage students to become experts in their own domain of writing is to make the activity less formal. In this case, it is not necessary to have a teacher right there, in the chair next to you, encouraging you. In fact, a student can do this activity alone if he or she wishes.Of course, it would also be nice if the student had an essay to read along with the pictures. In this way, the student can take notes about what he or she is reading and can also become familiar with the language being used in the essay. However, sometimes a student does n ot have access to this form of writing material. In this case, a student can use the pictures in their essay as a supplement to the written words.Essays such as this can provide a great source of learning for students who do not possess many written skills. The ability to see photos of things will not only provide the student with a sense of what they are reading, but it will also make the student aware of the different aspects of the pictures that are occurring throughout the piece. After all, it is much easier to learn about something if you see it, feel it, or know something about it.
